External
Identity
Could
we change our attitude, we should not only see life differently,
but
life itself would come to be different.
Life would undergo a change of appearance because we ourselves had undergone
a change of attitude.
~ Katherine Mansfield (1888-1923)
We enter a world identified by our senses and yet, we are constantly reinforced into a construct paradigm of virtual living with its synthetic realities that we cut off our sense faculties and rely instead on outer information. Our way in the world shapes our identity as connected to this physical imprint. The mirror also has us believe that our reflection is who we are, when in reality we are more the body we inhabit. We are also not our thoughts, since we can think about our thoughts and we are equally not or emotions, since we can analyze them, too. Who are we? Perhaps something energetically more expansive than the body - an expression of Love and Light of the Soul? It is this energy that creates our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. Our body is simply the energy vehicle that transports the authentic Self on the journey in this dimensional experience.
Everything in the universe is first created out of mental energy. Our thoughts create our reality. We are who we are by the virtue of what we think - what we wrap our minds around. These thoughts create our beliefs. For example, if we think we are unhappy, we are. If we believe we are excited, we behave that way. It is truer to say that we become our beliefs. Whatever we think, we have the power to become.
As the mind is that which sees itself
as separate, any movement of the mind merely strengthens its
sense of separation. Enlightenment – to a troubled,
fearful or sad mind – is the opposite of trouble, fear
or sadness and, therefore, merely a projection from that state.
Thus, enlightenment is not what you think it is because it
is beyond thought. ~The Living Field |
The truth that rings behind this powerful statement shows us what we identify as being ourselves. The perception we carry of whom we are - form body with or without essence? From whichever point of reference, form body or essence, we base our reality. Our entire lives pivot from this vector of perception. What do our realities look like? Are we a technician, a computer programmer, teacher, marine, war hero, politician, homemaker, businessperson, lawyer, farmer, stripper, doctor, waiter, actor, musician, psychologist, entrepreneur, healer, and so on? What role do we each place our identity upon?
Equating “self” with an external identity is a perception generated by the false self—the ego-mind of the Matrix. These external sources of name and form exist in the realm of judgment, as they disunify natural states of connectedness. The ego-mind is the sustainer of a false reality that obscures the real—the unity in all things. It is the breeder of judgment, contempt fear & hate, which all destroy. When we perceive our true Beingness from the vector of the unawakened heart-mind, thoughts fill us with judgments and fear brackets, personal limitations, suffering and disease that fog our clarity. Identification with the ego-mind and its concepts; habits, compulsions and addictions; words and images; judgments and definitions, are the obstacles to experiencing the now because it blocks all true relationship.
|
The
complex of the ego-mind becomes induced by the inherited
collective mind patterns of the Matrix that keeps the
“self” enslaved from discovering and expressing
our authentic nature. The nature of the false self does
this by thwarting living knowledge—of the Now---because
it does not allow us to move out of time, which is manufactured.
Both past and future, keeps us identified with this false
reality. Time keeps us sedated in the past that is closed
to all that is new, spontaneous and free. The future is
a projection of time that does not exist. Both timelines
keep us from being present in the All That Is and ever
will be. The loss of presence is a loss of being in flow. The
resistance to the presence of “what is,” is
a collective dysfunction that contributes to a diminshing
awareness of being, which forms the basis of dehumanization
and aberrations in our current civilization. Resistance
to what is, unease, discontent, tensions, and unnecessary
judgments, deny the Now.
The moment we begin “observing,” or becoming “witness” to our thoughts and emotions, an essential aspect of being present, we discover levels of resistance. For instance, we may find how rarely we are at ease within ourselves. On the level of thinking we notice a great deal of resistance in the form of judgment, discontent, and mental projection that hooks the attention and steers us from the moment. Equally, on the emotional level we feel an undercurrent of unease, tension, boredom or nervousness. Both are mind in habitual resistance mode. Make it a habit to monitor emotional and mental states through self-observation and a higher level of consciousness becomes activated and we begin to awaken to a new dimension of self understanding and clarity. Ask "how do I react when I think that thought?," "How do I react when I believe that thought?," "What happens when I believe that thought?" Simply observe. Be present. Then let go!!! Learning to observe each instant of time staying connected with the heart is the key to freedom. In each moment, the soul is provided with choices. The ultimate goal is to choose what is beneficial and good for Soul advancement, thus creating greater congruency within. Meditation leads us to discover who we really are. Contemplation is meditation in action.

Identities
Mask
or Authentic Self?
Every
Person is the creation of himself, the image of his own thinking
and believing
"You are what you love and you love what you give
your attention to"
Our
multidimensionality lends myriad opportunity to recognize
that the journey lies within us and is not an external destination. We must learn how to discern between the voice of the ego-mind
and the voice of the Soul, and between the voice of the
collective mindset and the voice of Spirit. Remember, that
the mind is merely a screen onto which we project images
and thoughts and that every thought that we hold for more
than seven seconds starts the manifestation process.
Below are clear
distinctions between the authentic Self as Soul and the false self of the Ego Complex.
Authentic
Self - Internal Dweller
• Identifies self as soul. The innerdiamond
within is eternal-timeless in nature, whose pure being
exists in the ever-present now flow with Creator.
• Sustains attention in the now. Knows that
being is never found in the confines of past events
or in future projections.
• There is no resistance to what is---no justifying,
waiting or projecting.
• Keeps the heart-mind clear by attending to the need of the
moment.
• Observes reactions on the mental & emotional
levels and asks “what thought in mind is creating
the situation.”
• Body responses are reviewed that are the
reactions to those specific thoughts being held.
• A “choice” is made to either hold
or to let go of festeringfeelings inside. This wards
off psychic or inner pollution. The retention of thoughts
and emotions are chosen.
• Knows that what truly matters is sacred and arises
beyond the mind—the water, sun, Earth, plants,
song, beauty, love, joy, creativity and inner peace,
and so on.
• The psyche as Soul is tethered to Nature and requires grounding in Nature to stay connected to life sustenance in order to thrive and evolve on terra firma.
• Understands the unity in all things—all
is connected.
• The Soul is mediator whose function is to ground Spirit into Matter/Mater/Mother through the human heart to express the "Laws of Soul Culture" on Earth Paradise. |
The Ego-Mask
- External Identity
• Identifies with the physical or pain body,
to labels & roles of behavior. There is no understanding
of self without them.
• Resists the Now - is anxious, uneasy and fearful.
• Fails to accept reactions of mind patterns
& emotions in order to change them. With that
comes a loss of consciousness. Cyborg.
• Interprets or judges from the past distorting
clear view. Ground of reference is faulty.
• Projects into the future, which does not exist. It's always about "another time."
• Is the conditioned mind whose voice plugs
into a manufactured paradigm. Mind Control.
• The voice of the ego-mind/Intra-psychic predation is often the energy
that torments, attacks and punishes—drains the
body-mind of vital energy that is meant for rejuvenation.
Instead, lack brings on dis-ease and a constant craving
of wants.
• Inflicts pain - physical, mental or emotional
violence onto self, others, animals, and Nature - the planet. Genocide/Ecocide.
• Projects resentment, moodiness, anger and
so on onto others, which creates a reality as a reflection
of the feeling states.
• Perceives in terms of separation-dualistic
responses in thought & action. Bifurcated.
• Lack of regard for others and/or stewardship for the planet. Plunders Iife.

The
NOW is always open-ended in its flexibility or flow to change
to the need of the moment. The best indicator of our level
of heart consciousness is how we deal with life challenges as
they come. We can use our challenges to either deepen our
unconsciousness or to become more intensely conscious. Observe
that when we are taken over by a reaction it is ultimately
some form of fear pulling us into deeper unconsciousness.
When we bring more consciousness into our lives we generate
an energy field around the knowing heart into greater inner congruency.
This generative field becomes a form of armor against darkness--
unconsciousness, negativity, resistance, discord, evil and violence.
Harnessing our emotions is the foundational path to self
mastery.
To
cut through the illusion of separation, we must cut through
the mental layers of our inner resistance to the place of
inner knowingness that recognizes Truth when it is heard
and felt. The feelings of excitation and aliveness are the
hallmark of this inner state of knowing. The more we return
to presence, again and again, eventually it becomes our
predominant state of Beingness in the world.
“The
Universe itself is a thought, a thought from which was born a
dream,
which is partially visible as matter.
You are infinite, you are eternal, within you are your dreams
of creation.”
– Anastasia
When
man becomes aware of the movement of his own thoughts, he
will see the division between the thinker and the thought,
the observer and the observed, the experiencer and the experience.
He will discover that this division is an illusion. Then only
is there pure observation, which is insight without any shadow
of the past or of time. This timeless insight brings about
a deep, radical mutation of the mind. ~J. Krishnamurti. |
Do
not go after the past, nor lose yourself in the future.
For the past no longer exists, and the future is not yet
here.
By looking deeply at things just as they are, in this moment,
here and now,the seeker lives calmly and freely.
You should be attentive today, for waiting until tomorrow
is too late. Death can come and take us by surprise -
how can we gainsay it?
The one who knows how to live attentively night and day
is the one who knows the best way to be independent.

Reshape
Your Consciousness To Reshape Your Life
Shifting Into A New Way Of Being And
Thinking
Happiness and suffering come from your own mind, not from outside.
Your own mind is the cause of happiness; your own mind is the cause
of suffering.
To obtain happiness and pacify suffering, you have to work within your
own mind.

Consciousness
is the awareness of being aware. Consciousness
or awareness offers us the power to choose the direction of our
lives. Paving our direction begins with the principles of energy
of which the material universe is made up of. Just as transmutation
of the forms of energy is a continuing process of the material universe,
our original Self as a creator, sends consciousness in many directions
at once to experience all possibilities enabling us to engage the
essential energy of all creation for our use. How we use creative
life force energy and fine tune it in our lives is entirely up to
each of us because the manifestations of energy are in our
thoughts, our belief systems, our speech, and our actions. In fact,
our thoughts, which are forms of energy helps to shape the conditions
in our lives because all thought-forms resonate at a particular emotional frequency in the bandwidth of
our auric fields that opens up "holographic connections" of an intended
experience.
We
all have the power to harness creative universal energy, to fine-tune our focus and discipline into the here and now, and to make
any necessary changes within, to transform our smallness of mind
and into the largess of being that we are. When our bodies are
clear of inner obstructions, the higher knowledge of our mission
or blueprint is transmitted telepathically, via dreams and modes
of inspiration through the ray of love, wisdom and intelligence of Universal Law
that works with the divine mind of the Higher Self. If we are
to evolve spiritually we must begin to remove obstructions that
limit our Soul’s conscious evolution - to examine our thoughts
and understand that our thoughts and beliefs do not represent
reality and that our perceptions of reality are incomplete. When
we grasp this, we open ourselves to appreciating others perceptions
and we see that we can control our thoughts, our beliefs, our
speech, that underlay our actions if and then we behave in different ways. Abiding
by Universal Law and Principle helps us to eliminate
the pains of living by trial and error.
Depending
on the projected thought forms, they either align or misalign with
the Earth’s vibration and the collective consciousness.
Choosing with integrity the experiences we wish to create
via our thought-forms helps us to gain mastery over them by learning
which ones attract and lead to joy and which attract
pain and difficult experiences to us. For example, we all
have some control over how we behave. When we choose thoughts
with optimistic overtones that assist us in residing on a
higher frequency there is measured progress on our journey
to spiritual development and we feed both our own optimism
and sense of wellbeing and those of others.
Negativity
is a Psychic Pollutant !!! |
|
When we
choose negative pessimistic thoughts of anticipated doom and gloom
we emanate a vibration arousing the same thought forms that created
them. Negative thoughts such as envy, criticism, hatred and jealousy
are psychic pollutants and responsible in the creation of our
negative experiences. They create low grade thought forms that
bleed into the environment, inhibit our progress and move us into
regress. On a physical level, negativity, whether in thought or
visualization produces trauma in our bodies by taking physical
form, as it records all experiences in both our cellular and etheric
body structure. When blockages exist, they lower the frequency
of our soul and block encoded symbols of Light that carry the
celestial plan for our current incarnation and humanities evolution.
It is said that the unfocused use of thought energy creates sin
or separation from Spirit because we do not think about our thoughts
and our speech, even though our present and future lives and those
of others, is impacted by them. Once we realize that we are not
our thoughts and emotions, we can begin to control them. We do
this by choosing to think or feel otherwise through the empathic heart. Whenever we do not
like how we are feeling, we should choose to experience something
else.
Having experienced
the direct relationship of addictive negative thoughts and fears
and the halting of our soul’s progression, we can begin
to shift our consciousness to our point of power through our higher
selves for healing and personal growth. Our consciousness can
receive direct communication and guidance from our Soul to create
and experience outside of delusion and self imposed limitation.
As long as we are working through the higher self we can be assured
that we are bringing our highest good forward as the universe
supports our dreams, visions, decrees, and actions. The Psyche grounded in Nature is the Path to Whole Self Wellbeing.

Avoid Internally Polluted Thoughts
"We
become what we think about all day long.
The question is, what do you think about?" ~Dr.
Wayne Dyer
A healthy psychological environment
involves developing and maintaining positive patterns of thinking.
In order for positive thinking to change our life, it must become
our predominant mind-set. A beginning step is to clear our minds
of past negative thoughts and feelings. We do this by forgiving
oversights, insults or transgression of the past. Forgiveness helps to clear our minds and fill them with positive thoughts
and energies to enrich our lives. Where our thoughts focus,
our energies are focused. When we move to positive thinking, we
free our energies for the positive activities of life and for
our spiritual development. Once we are committed to embracing
positive thinking, we’ll start believing that everything
that we want is within our grasp.
Ponder
On This
1~ One
Word That Can Change Your Reality -- And Change The Way You Think.
Did you know that by simply removing one word from your vocabulary,
and replacing it with another, you can put yourself in the driver’s
seat and gain 100 percent control of your life?
2~ Researchers
have discovered that one’s own negative thoughts and visualizations
can have a powerful negative effect on the healing system of the
body,
as if the negativity is somehow infectious and these thoughts
take physical form.
3~ Anxiety
is a thin stream of fear trickling through the mind.
If encouraged, it cuts a channel into which all other thoughts
are drained. ~Somers Roche
4~ View
all problems as challenges. Look upon negativities that arise
as opportunities to learn and to grow. Don't run from them, condemn
yourself, or bury your burden in saintly silence. You have a problem?
Great. More grist for the mill. Rejoice, dive in, and investigate.
~Bhante Henepola Gunaratana, "Mindfulness in Plain English"
“Our
thoughts outwardly projected, is what is built from within”
It’s not about what happens.
It’s about perspective.
I
may not be able to change what takes place, but I can always choose
to change my thinking.

Eat, Pray, Love
One Woman's Search for Everything Italy, India and Indonesia
By Elizabeth Gilbert
So I've
started being vigilant about watching my thoughts all day, and
monitoring them. I repeat this vow about 700 times per day:"
I will not harbor unhealthy thoughts anymore" Every time
a diminishing thought arises, I repeat the vow I will not harbor
unhealthy thoughts anymore The first time I heard myself say this,
my inner ear perked up at the word "harbor" which is
a noun as well as a verb. A harbor, of course, is a place of refuge,
a port of entry. I pictured the harbor of my mind--a little beat-up,
perhaps, a little storm-worn, but well situated and with a nice
depth. The harbor of my mind is an open bay, the only access to
the island of my Self (which is a young and volcanic island, yes,
but fertile and promising).
This island has been through some wars, it is true, but it is
now committed to peace, under a new leader (me) who has instituted
new policies to protect the place. And now--let the word go out
across the seven seas--there are much, much stricter laws on the
books about who may enter this harbor.
You may
not come here anymore with your hard and abusive thoughts, with
your plague ships of thoughts, with your slave ships of thoughts,
with your warships of thoughts--all these will be turned away.
...This
is a peaceful harbor, the entryway to a fine and proud island
that is only now beginning to cultivate tranquility. If you can
abide by these new laws, my dear thoughts, then you are welcome
in my mind--otherwise, I shall turn you all back toward the sea
from whence you came.
That is my mission, and it will never end.
