Conscious Living

 Relational Wellness

Humans are social beings. We are continually in relationship: with our selves, our loved ones, our co-workers, friends and community at large and to our connection with nature. The quality of our life depends on the quality of our relationships.

Purposeful Work

When we are in the service of the body, we need jobs and trade and sell our body energies. We are educated to work for those who have control over material existence and authority over our lives. We are owned. As part of a mercenary society where we are drugged into jobs and sell our liberty for money, our energy is sapped by routine work and we settle into mediocrity. Self-survival is deeply ingrained in our DNA and has become synonymous with jobs, but it does not invoke a yearning for the higher values of life. For generations upon generations we have been deceived. We have not been making right use of will, as we harbor ambition or fear. Affluence without wisdom is self destructive. In the absence of new awareness we remain what we are-self centered and fascinated with accumulation and advantage. Living an artificial life we are craving, competitive, unfulfilled and ever wanting more, yet we fear a vested interest in the voice of our expression.

purposeful work is deeply connected to emotional and spiritual wellbeing. When we love what we do we naturally generate enthusiasm. Enthusiasm is the highest level of energy we can experience, which is felt when we discover our life’s passion, reason of being or mission on this planet; express our creative urge; and of course when we live and follow our soul's urge according to its divine blueprint. Enthusiasm is infectious that draws us continually closer to the realization of ourselves as divine. This realization is strongly related to our attitudes about our work that entails the actualization of our dreams. Discovering our passion is the first step towards excitement, enthusiasm and satisfaction.

Healing Alignment: Exercise your creative urge for mastery of expression of the good, the beautiful and the true.

1- Prepare and make use of your gifts, skills and talents in order to gain purpose, happiness and enrichment in your life.
2- Commit to making your purposeful work into a total lifestyle that is satisfying and rewarding.

Social Wellness
Our relationship to the collective

Building and maintaining positive relationships is one of the most important elements in a healthy lifestyle. By strengthening our relationships, we also strengthen ourselves because when we feel better about ourselves we are more willing to open ourselves to new relationships and experiences.

To create right community based partnerships there must be unity with or community by clearing the disunity patterns at the cause of discord in the dance of life. The aberrations of society always reflect individual states of mind and together these form the social dis-eases that plague us. Individually, we each contribute to the collective malaise when divisive orientations and fractured thinking within the psyche are not processed.

Dr. Wendy L. Watson states in her book Rock Solid Relationship, "if we have been hurt in a relationship, we often gather an arsenal of weapons, thinking they will protect our hearts from further damage. But ironically, such weapons can injure us in addition to those we are defending against. These weapons of war are thoughts, feelings, and behaviors such as harsh judgments, jealousies, and sarcasm that keep us feeling separate, isolated, and lonely. If you are unable to find love and peace and joy in your relationships, could it be you are carrying around thoughts that wound love? feelings that bruise peace? actions that kill you?"

These weapons prevent us from forming the healthy relationships we need in our lives. If we are willing to open ourselves to others and communicate, we will be able to develop relationships in any environment that we are positioned. Since communication is at the core of our relationships with others it paves the way for unification.

Communication is reflected in our countenance. We must be careful not only what we communicate, but also how we do so. Souls can be strengthened or shattered by the message and the manner in which we communicate. Having integrity in word and action is essential as is honoring the opinions and feelings of others that we may not share.

Healing Alignment: Unity starts with self and extends to relationships and in community with others. "As within, so Without!"

1-Form strong unifying bonds on a community level.
2-Relate well and authentically to others, both within and outside the family unit.
3-Act with ease and confidence to be outgoing, friendly, and affectionate toward others.
4-Develop a genuine concern for other individuals, as well as an interest in humanity and the environment as a whole.

Environmental Wellness

The quality of today's environment has a direct effect on personal wellness. To enjoy environmental wellness, we require clean air, pure water, quality food, adequate shelter, satisfactory work conditions, personal safety, and healthy relationships. Environmental wellness or eco-psychology is about living symbiotically with nature with concern towards how our energy output affects the entire ecosystem of life. It involves developing alternative resources to oil in order to live in a clean and safe environment that is not detrimental to our health and the Earth body.

Healing Alignment: Preservation consciousness in connection with nature. Engage with nature to commune and absorb Earth's healing energies, thus keeping hte body in balance.

1-"Waste not, want not" my Mother taught us. Think about where it's all going to go. The landfills are overflowing.
2-Assist in healing the Earth body. Eco-healings are a common way to show our Earth Mother our apprectiaon and love for her sustenance and foundational support for our lives that we take for granted on a daily basis.
